If the house is listed on the MLS as a “courtesy” of a certain realty company, do I have to use that company or can I go to the realtor of my choice in that area?

Our realtor made a mistake that cost us the house that we wanted to buy (see previous question), and then cashed our earnest money check after he assured us that it would not be cashed until we closed on a house!
I’m feeling very distrustful, any good realtors here from Boise, ID? I’m tired of being scr*wed over!

We have been searching for homes with this realtor for about 10 months and have not found one yet. She found a rental home for us so we could relocate to the area (SC). The lease is for 6 months. We would like to give her something for the time being, with the intent we will continue looking for houses to purchase in a few months from now. I know this is not necessary to do, but we think a lot of her and she spent a lot of time with us so far.

We were very rich and had a home 4500 sq feet but now live in a really small home because anyone who buys a house … what is causing all of these executions of a mortgage and why isn 't anyone who goes buying lately?
